Chelmsford is a city in Essex in the east of England. It is approximately 50km north east of London and there is a railway station with direct trains to London Liverpool Street in Central London (35 minutes travel time). Chelmsford is an urban area with a mix of Victorian and modern buildings and a vibrant city centre with two shopping centres and a wide range of restaurants and pubs. Chelmsford is surrounded by many parks and picturesque English villages. Places to visit include Marsh Farm Animal Adventure Park, Tropical Wings Zoo, Chelmsford Cathedral, Shire Hall, Chelmsford Museum and many more.

The Plus centre is located at the main campus of the University of Chester. It is spread across 13 hectares of grassland. It has a mixture of Victorian buildings such as The Old College, which includes an old chapel built by some of the former students, and modern buildings. Green spaces and beautifully kept gardens at the heart of the campus provide a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The campus also features excellent sporting facilities, a swimming pool, a bar and various shops. The city centre is around 15-20 minutes’ walk away. Chester is one of England’s most beautiful historic cities, situated in the county of Cheshire in the north west of the country. The Roman Amphitheatre and walls feature ancient towers, gates and add to the traditional atmosphere of this ancient city. It is compact and easy to get around on foot whilst taking your time to admire the historic architecture. It also has various medieval and black-and-white Victorian buildings including the famous Chester ‘Rows’ - medieval walkways that form two-level rows of shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Just 10 miles from the city centre, there is the UK’s largest outlet designer shopping village. Chester is well linked to many major UK cities such as Manchester, Liverpool and London.

The PLUS Centre is located at Loughborough University, one of the biggest single-site campuses in the UK. The campus resembles a small village and is famous for its world-class teaching, living and especially its sporting facilities including an Olympic size swimming pool. It provides plenty of open spaces, gardens and sports areas mixed with academic buildings and student accommodation. This is a self-contained university environment with on-site restaurants and shops. The university offers students secure living and learning. The town is only 15 minutes walk from the campus and can also be easily accessed by bus. Loughborough is a large town in the East Midlands of England. It is located within 20-minutes travel time of the three famous cities of Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. It is a pleasant market town surrounded by the Soar Valley and Charnwood Forest's beautiful hills. The town is well served by major road and rail routes and there are many green areas and parks with a mix of modern and Victorian buildings. Loughborough is 160 km north west of London and has a train station with direct trains to the tourist destinations of Birmingham and Robin Hood's Sherwood Forest (25 minutes travel time). The town centre is an attractive leisure and entertainment destination.
