Come and study at this beautiful Anglo-Japanese campus in the historic city of Canterbury, in Kent. Open Junior Summer Programme is an exciting mix of communicative English language classes, fun activities, project work and excursions. Lessons are designed to improve and consolidate each learner’s English, with a focus on listening and communication skills, vocabulary and grammar development. By the end of the course, students should see a significant improvement in their level, confidence and fluency. The course is available to groups of students from 11 to 17 years of age and individuals, 16 and 17 years, in either residential or host family accommodation.

Courses

SPRING/ AUTUMN/ WINTER ENGLISH JUNIOR COURSES

- 21 hours of English language lessons a week - Classes divided according to placement tests - Maximum 14 students per class - All course materials provided - Elementary to advanced level - Certificate provided on completion

General English Short Stay Courses

- Available throughout the year at the centre in Canterbury between 5 nights and up to 4 weeks - Mix of classroom based lessons, project work, trips & activities - Available to students from elementary to advanced level - All course materials provided - End of course certificate

Accommodation

- full board residential or host family accommodation - English host family Staying with an English host family provides a complete language immersion experience and gives additional opportunities to practice English and discover French culture while sharing meals with a family. - Student Residence Chaucer college can provide for 16 and 17 years old students residential accomodation on their beautiful and tranquil Japanese-inspired campus.
