Kings Education / Boston

Kings Boston is located on the campus of Pine Manor College, one of the most attractive universities in the whole of New England. This beautiful 60-acre site is situated in Chestnut Hill, one of Boston's most elegant and exclusive suburbs. Following a major refurbishment started in October 2012, students can enjoy fantastic new teaching facilities and modernized on-campus accommodation blocks.

Courses

Vacation Course

This flexible, great value course is available year-round in the USA. It consists of 20 English lessons per week. There are also optional sports and activities, plus an optional weekly excursion.

Intensive Course

This is our most popular course. It is designed to increase fluency in as short a time as possible and can be customised to deliver the outcome you want through our range of Special Interest Groups. 28 lessons per week

Compact Course

This is a broad General English course which is specifically designed to improve your overall language skills whilst giving plenty of free time to explore your new city location. 20 lessons per week

Diploma of English

This long-term course is the best value way to achieve real fluency. You can gain specific subject knowledge through Special Interest Groups or can even study a specialist semester designed for university entry or professional development. 28 lessons per week

Accommodation

Homestay Homestays are typically 45 minutes to an hour from campus by public transportation. Students stay in single rooms (with shared bath) and are provided breakfast and dinner each day. Student Residences On-campus residences house 30 students per building in singles and twins, with shared baths (1 per 6 students). Males and females are separated by floor. Security key cards are required for entrance and residence staff live on site. Residences are a 3-minute walk to classes and the cafeteria and a very short walk from the work-out room, basketball court, soccer pitch, tennis court, library and Kings o ces. A free shuttle runs every 30 minutes from 7am – 11pm (except holidays) to subway stop near campus and to local shops.
