Located at the University of Brighton, the centre offers a safe campus location on the edge of the city, with lessons and activities located in the heart of the city and near the seafront. Brighton is a great location to explore the South Coast, London and Cambridge, as well as enjoy fantastic activities. It offers much of the excitement of London but in a much smaller city, ideal for students who want fun excursions but the safety and peace of an out-of-city campus. The Varley Park campus at the University of Brighton offers high quality, modern bedrooms and facilities, located near the stunning South Downs National Park. Our staff will escort students to their lessons in central Brighton on a short bus ride.

The teachers in St Giles were professional, nice and helpful. The lessons were interesting, we talked a lot with other people and there were a lot of activities. I liked that the school days were split into 3 lessons of 1 hour and 40 minutes with a 30 and 70 minutes long breaks.

The building was big, so at first I didn’t know what is where, however after a while it was okay. It was nice, everything worked well. The teachers worked a lot with interactive boards.
Ubytování
The best thing was that the residence was only about 5 minutes from school and also from the Brighton Pier. The rooms were a little smaller than what I expected, but it was okay.
Stravování
I used the kitchen in the residence most of the times.
Společenské aktivity
I didn’t participate in social programmes from the school.
Personál
The teachers as well as the staff in the residence were all really nice and helped whenever needed.
Celkový dojem
It was a very pleasing experience. I didn’t have any problems during my stay.

A lot of different speaking, listening, writing and other activities. All teachers were very nice and helpful, lessons were entertaining and interesting.

School and residence are well located. School was modern, there were many stairs everywhere.
Ubytování
The residence was 5 minutes from school and the Brighton Pier. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in 2 minute walk. The rooms and common areas were clean and well equipped. The basic rooms were a little bit small though. There are 3 kitchens in the residence, one of them had a nice terrace.
Stravování
We cooked our food daily in the residence. We also went to few restaurants during Eat Out Help Out.

The school offered a social program weekly, we did not participate though.
Personál
Everyone was very kind and helpful.

Visiting St Giles Brighton was a great experience. I would have stayed more than 3 weeks if possible, it went by really fast. There was really great collective in our class and we will stay in touch even after the course. The school helped us to speak more confidently and to practise the language.

Most of the lessons were interesting, and went by fast. There is a lot of speaking with partners, listening, reading and general exercises.

The school was well equipped.
Ubytování
The St Giles residence was just 5 minutes from the school by walk, which was beautiful. You could get to the Brighton pier by 5 minutes long walk too. The city centre is also close.
The residence was well equipped, and had 3 shared kitchens, one on each floor. Two big supermarkets are right around the corner.
Stravování
We cooked our own food at the residence everyday.

The school offered us about 3 activites each week. They were often through zoom from home, or at the beach.
Personál
Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

I had a lot of fun. Everyday was exciting, and I made a number of new friends. I will remember this experience for a long time.
